Traditional Japanese Karakuri Doll, Nyanta Ghost

Traditionally supposed to ward off evil spirits, this peculiar doll rolls its eyes back and sticks its tongue out when the string is pulled. Taking advantage of the recent cat boom, the artists have created "Ghost Nyanta" using the same technique and mechanism.
